Registered Psychotherapist | Philosopher | Toronto
About Me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and philosopher based in Toronto. My work is rooted in the simple but profound question of what it means to live with greater awareness and depth.
Rather than offering quick fixes or prescribed solutions, I offer a steady, attentive presence in which honest self-inquiry can unfold. This work draws on phenomenological understanding, philosophical reflection, and the insights of depth-oriented psychotherapy — always in service of greater clarity, steadiness, and freedom in your own life.
A Personal Note
Like many people who find their way to this work, I have known the weight of overthinking, the ache of disconnection, and the quiet longing for a more grounded way of being. Born in South Africa and now based in Toronto, my path has been shaped by movement between cultures, years of philosophical study, and a deepening mindfulness practice.
I hold an Honours degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. These two threads — rigorous philosophical inquiry and depth-oriented psychotherapy — have never felt separate to me. They continue to shape the way I sit with others: with grounded strength, clear presence, and deep respect for the intelligence already alive in each person.
I do not offer myself as someone who has finished the work. I offer the steady, clear presence of someone who continues to walk with these questions alongside the people I meet.
How I Work
I work with individuals and couples who are ready to look more honestly at their inner life and relationships. Together we create a respectful, unhurried space in which your experience can be met with care and curiosity.
Rather than applying techniques to you, I support you in developing a stronger, kinder relationship with your own thoughts, emotions, patterns, and longings. We may explore the architecture of your inner world, the wisdom carried in the body and nervous system, relational dynamics, and the quieter dimensions of presence and meaning.
This work is collaborative. It moves at the pace that feels right for you. The goal is not to become someone new, but to come into a more honest and spacious relationship with the life that is already here — whether as an individual or in relationship with others.
Who Finds Their Way Here
People often arrive carrying mental noise, relational strain, life transitions, or the quiet sense that something essential has been lost in the rush of daily life. Some are professionals or leaders seeking greater inner steadiness and clarity. Others are simply drawn toward a more examined and present way of being.
Many have tried to think or push their way through these experiences and are now looking for a different kind of conversation — one that makes room for what is actually happening inside them.
Whatever has brought you here, you are welcome exactly as you are.
If Something Here Resonates
If these words feel alive for you, I invite you to reach out. The first step is often simply beginning a real, unhurried conversation. There is no need to have anything figured out beforehand.
